EXECUTIVE ROUNDTABLE: “How Companies are Addressing Labor and other Human Rights Risks in their Supply Chains”

February 17, 2021 - February 18, 2021

DSC 0144 5233

As we start the 2020 decade to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, we can expect the proliferation of social and environmental regulations around the world.

Today, financial institutions, from asset funds and stock markets to multilateral investment banks, are already demanding that companies meet higher social and environmental standards to reduce risks and improve their business performance. Often, for large companies, their responsibility is expected to go well beyond their own operations to include their suppliers.

The Roundtable provides a platform for companies in industries about their experience managing human rights, including labor rights, throughout their value chains. There is a particular interest to understand how to implement UN guiding principles on business and human rights, including risk assessments, due diligence, grievances, remediation, etc. throughout the supply chain.

The virtual program will be split into four sessions on two days. The first day will focus on the policy, regulatory and investment environments while the second day is dedicated to company experiences and practical actions.

This is an invitation only event.
